Entry fees for each entry are $35 for IWG members and $40 for non-members.

Prizes
$100 to each 1st place winner
$50 to each 2nd place winner
 

Averaged scores from the judges must be at least 75 out of 100 to qualify for either prize.

**Each category is judged by two or more industry professionals. You will receive the Judges’ scorecards  – FREE with each entry!

LITERARY CONTEST RULES:
1. All entries must be ORIGINAL and NOT previously published by contest deadline.
2. Entries must be received by March 5, 2017.
3. All entries MUST:
                  * Be in English, and author’s original work
                  * Be double-spaced
                  * Have 1” margins
                  * Use 12 point Times New Roman or Courier New font
      * All pages of the submission must have the category number, manuscript title, and page number listed in the upper right-hand corner (this can be a header outside the 1 inch margin)
4. Your name must NOT appear on any page of the manuscript. Your name should only be located on your Entry Form
5. NO resubmission or page replacements allowed
6. Non-refundable fee for each entry
7. Failure to follow instructions will result in disqualification. Should your entry be disqualified, you will receive a letter stating the reason and, time permitting, an opportunity to resubmit at no additional charge.

IMPORTANT DATES:
·       March 5, 2017 – Final Deadline
·       April 15, 2017 – Semi-Finalists notified
·       May 1, 2017 – Winners Announced and posted on the website

·       May 5, 2017 – Awards presented to those present at the Awards Ceremony (awards for those not present will be mailed )
